What a bizarre weekend of football. Packers lose, Bears get slaughtered in the evening, ultimately although at the time unknowingly, a perfect setup for the Detroit Lions playing my beloved, but injury depleted Giants. Up by a touchdown well into the 4th quarter, Stafford throws a pick, Giants tie the game and eventually win in OT.
Buffalo shuts out Miami, Seattle loses to Arizona, what the heck is going on? It looks more and more like it’s Peyton’s year. Yet somehow, and I’ve been feeling this for the last few weeks, I think Brady wins another Super Bowl, the perfect bizarre ending to this crazy year. Think about it, the Giants beat Brady twice in the Super Bowl, what could be more ironic than Brady winning on the Giant’s home field, and Peyton not having the opportunity to win on Eli’s field.
